Jigsaw is a most fortunate moon bear.
Every year people like you help me to raise the $10,000 required to cover the cost of his ongoing care at Animals Asia’s sanctuary in Vietnam. Most of this is raised via an annual virtual photo PUZZLE of Jigsaw – See below! Every piece is available to be “turned over” for a donation @ $100 each. But if you can’t donate $100, that’s OK! I keep a tally of all donations and when I have $100 gathered I turn over another piece. I’ll let you know which bit of Jigsaw you have contributed!

Hi everyone! I would love to welcome you to my supporter family. My Bear Care Club aims to make me a Zero Cost Bear for Animals Asia because, if Animals Asia doesn’t have to dig into its own pockets to care for me, they can spend more money rescuing other bears!
So that makes me a Bear rescuing other Bears!! How cool is that!
My puzzle in 2023 celebrates my 14th fabulous year with Animals Asia. I am now about 18 years old (we don’t exactly know how old I was when rescued). I’m a happy, easy-going bear and enjoy playing with my bear buddies, swimming and hanging out on the hammock! Plus food …. I LOVE food!

Since 2010 we have raised an amazing $140,000, through the power of this website, Jigsaw’s newsletters, fuN-raising market stalls and other initiatives his supporters dream up, such as raffles and quiz nights. The money raised each year covers Jigsaw’s needs and his share of “expenses” for living at the sanctuary: food, vet care & any operations, enrichment tools and structures which provide the bears with “occupational therapy” as part of their everyday living environment, along with Jigsaw’s share of the wages of the local community people who love and care for the bears.
