Huge honour for Sal & AAMB ! We receive an award for excellence & creativity in FuNraising!!

Animals Asia recently bestowed 4 awards per major donor country to acknowledge the efforts of their enthusiastic fundraisers!

Sal & Adoptamoonbear received one of only 2 awards given to individuals for their outstanding contributions towards fundraising along with commitment to bringing awareness to the plight of the bear-bile farmed bears.

Plus 2 more bears rescued at Easter! Welcome home to Wendles and Bazan who had to endure 6 extra long and painful years waiting for the farmer to release them into the care of Animals Asia!.

My name is Sal and I have created this site to bring awareness to the plight of the beautiftul Moon Bears of Asia. Together we can make a difference by raising money to care for our adopted Moon Bear Jigsaw. In the photo with me is my own little moon bear. Our border collie Gemma lived a wonderfully happy 17+ years. She was my mascot right through the fuN-raising for Jigsaw and then decided her job was done. She passed away in December 2010, the day after we finished raising the initial money to rescue Jigsaw but I know she has gifted her happy, joyful spirit onto him! Below is a Progress Thermometer that shows how much money we have raised since we started, late in 2009! WOW!! Impressive! To all our supporters, thank you for your generosity and PLEASE, KEEP YOUR DONATIONS COMING!! Bears like to live a long time :o)
